Matong Digital Resilience Hub

Post-storm community recovery through digital inclusion — restoring and strengthening digital access for Matong so residents stay connected when the next storm arrives.

Why Matong

Matong is a small NSW rural community recovering from severe storm impacts. Like many small towns under 2,000 people, everyday services and information access depend on reliable digital connectivity — and that connectivity is fragile in the wake of extreme weather.

Post-storm digital inclusion

The project focuses on restoring and strengthening digital access for residents, so that emergency information, services, education, and community coordination remain within reach when the next storm arrives.

Community access and resilience

The hub is designed to sit inside existing community life, not on top of it — a shared space for residents, local groups, schools and visiting services to use for practical everyday needs.

Delivery updates coming soon

Delivery details, timelines and community outcomes will be published here as they are confirmed with delivery partners.

Partner opportunities

We welcome conversations with councils, service providers, telcos, schools, Rotary clubs and community groups who can strengthen the hub's reach.
